Microblading
Microblading (also known as microstroking) is a form of temporary tattooing, primarily used for enhancing the natural eye brow. The tattoos last 6-18months. The process is performed with a manual hand tool that has disposable micro blades. The pigment is deposited carefully into the epidermis with the micro blade. This allows the technician to create very fine lines, mimicking the look of natural eye brows.

The process starts with a detailed brow consultation. From there, the brows are penciled in and the client agrees on the overall shape and thickness and colour density.

They can use 1, 2 or even 3 types of pigment to make them look as natural as possible. By using more pigments you can create a more 3D brow effect.

No facial scrubs or peels for at least two weeks before or after.
After-Care Procedure
-
First 24 hours avoid getting area wet to allow it to heal.
-
Clean with a mild, fragrance free cleanser and lukewarm water. Using a cotton pad or your fingertips apply in a gentle, circular motion. Pat the area dry.
-
Apply a thin layer of ointment or cream (suggested by your microblade artist). This will help with keeping this area moisturized and help with healing.
-
No swimming, saunas or tanning for at least 14 days.
-
Avoid picking or scratching the treated area. Can cause infections or loss of pigment.
-
Keep brows away from water for 14(minimum)-18 days. When using face wash products, avoid brows at all costs.
-
Do not apply make up to the brows for 10 days. We are dealing with an open wound. So applying make up or not cleaning properly can cause infections.
